The common media is picking up on something that I have been blogging about for a long time: Biggest Spike in Traffic Deaths in 50 Years? Blame Apps.Â
Gasbuddy may help you find cheap gasÂ
Waze may help you avoid traffic jamsÂ
Trapster may help you avoid ticketsÂ
Maps may get you where you're goingÂ
Parkopedia, Dynolicious, Dasdroid, Carcorder...Â
There are great apps out there, but the statistical evidence is overwhelming. The use of mobile phone apps while driving is making the highway a much more dangerous place.
I will be putting up a few links about this on my website soon. Meanwhile, as a successful personal injury lawyer, I respectfully ask you - and recommend to you - not to use use cell phone apps when driving. Pull over instead. Protect your family and mine.Â
Thanks.
